We have a sacred responsibility to care for one another.  We belong to each other.  I say this more than anything because I need the reminder and encouragement.  You see, as some of my friends share about their parents needing extra attention and care due to age and/or illness, I imagine having to tend regularly to someone dear to me and I don’t see it in me.

The good news, though, is I don’t have to because Love is bigger than anything in its way, we simply need to open to it little by little and day by day.  I don’t know about you, but I’m super good at living in my head, dwelling in the land of reason, logic, and knowledge.  While our minds are important, the problem is when we elevate them over our hearts.  Our heads and hearts are made to work harmoniously in tandem.

For instance, while my rationality trembles at the idea of having to regularly give of myself to provide for a debilitated dear one, my Love knows all will be well.  With this in mind, today I invite us to unify and harmonize our heads and hearts by practicing turning our thoughts, intentions, and attentions to the benefit of someone else.

If you enjoyed this you can sign up for email notifications of future blogs on the top right.  Additionally, I have a Facebook page where I regularly post articles, blogs, quotes, meditations, etc. to encourage us to more Light and Love.  Again, to the top right there’s a link for you to “Like” the page, as well as my Instagram account if you’re interested. ❤

Grace and peace,

Lang
